Day 1: Monday, September 2nd

Depart Toronto (YYZ) headed to Tel Aviv (TLV)

Day 2: Tuesday, September 3rd
We will arrive in Tel Aviv at the Ben Gurion International Airport. We will be met by our Tour Guide: Shmulik Eitan (Pronounced: Shmooolick). We drive to the beautiful sea-side city of Netanya. After check-in, you are free to enjoy the beautiful beach for a swim or a walk. Dinner at 7pm. There will be a mandatory Orientation Meeting at 8:15pm.

Day 3: Wednesday, September 4th

We start the day by driving along the coast to Caesarea. There we will visit the 2000-year-old theatre built by Herod the Great. Continue north to Akko, also known as “Crusader City”. It is filled with incredible and important historical ruins and boasts one of the most beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. We end the day with an excursion to the Rosh HaNikra Grottoes. A cable car ride will give you a breathtaking view that will last you a lifetime.

Day 4: Thursday, September 5th
Begin the day exploring the beautiful Bahai Gardens. This perfectly manicured garden is a tropical oasis in the heart of the city. Proceed to Mount Carmel for a spectacular view of the Jezreel Valley, also known as the Valley of Armageddon. This is the location that commemorates the story of the Prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 18. Then we will be transported back in time to the days of Abraham with a visit to Kfar Kedem. Here you will get a chance to milk a goat, eat freshly made cheese, and bake your own pita bread the ancient way. A perfect end to a great day includes a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5: Friday, September 6th
If you have binoculars, you want might to pack them for our visit to the Hula Nature Reserve in the northern Galilee. It’s home to thousands of birds migrating across the region. You may even see some Water Buffalo and Fallow Deer! You may have been baptized in the Jordan River, but now you will have a chance to either Kayak or go Rafting in the Jordan!

Day 6: Saturday, September 7th

Make sure you pack your bathing suits as we depart for Hamat Gader. This resort is home to several hot springs. Set aside some extra cash and treat yourself to a relaxing time at one of the many spas on site. From the spacious open pools to the Jacuzzi chairs and the powerful hot waterfall, there is a place for everyone! The long bus ride to the Dead Sea region will be the perfect opportunity to grab a nap after the relaxing time at Hamat Gader. Another unique opportunity will be waiting for you when we arrive at Abraham’s Tent at Genesis Land. We will be fed a delicious meal and have the opportunity for a nice long camel ride in the Judean Desert.

Day 7: Sunday, September 8th

FREE DAY at the Dead Sea! Today is all about you. Pamper yourself with a massage or special Dead Sea salt treatment. Spoil yourself. You deserve it!

Day 8: Monday, September 9th
We will continue south towards Eilat. But first, we will stop in for a visit to the Mount Sodom Salt Cave. Arrive in Eilat and go to the stunning Red Canyon Lookout.

Day 9: Tuesday, September 10th

FREE DAY in Eilat. It’s your day to spend your way. Sleep in and take in the sun, go snorkeling in the Red Sea among some of the most beautiful Coral Reef in the world. Swim with dolphins, rent a jet ski…whatever you want. The day is yours!

Day 10: Wednesday, September 11th

Begin the day at Timna Park which is located just north of Eilat in Israel’s Negev Desert. The park, set in a beautifully majestic desert setting, has amazing history and geology and has the world’s first ever copper mine. Continue north to the stunning Ramon Crater in Israel’s Negev Desert, it is the world’s largest erosion crater. The view is breath-taking! After check-in and dinner, weather permitting, we will head out to the Mitzpe Ramon Wise Observatory for a night of stargazing.

Day 11: Thursday, September 12th

Sde Boker is famous as the home of David Ben Gurion, Israel’s first Prime Minister, and is located in the center of the Negev Desert in southern Israel. We’ll visit and pay tribute at the memorial site of where Ben Gurion and his wife are buried. From there we will head north towards Jerusalem to the caves at Beit Gurvin. With more than 800 caves to explore, you’ll definitely be able to cross off that “Indiana Jones” experience off your bucket list! Our final stop of the day is awesome! It’s called Avshalom Cave and you will love every second of it. Known for its high concentration of Stalactites, a type of formation that hangs from the ceilings of caves, you’ll think you’re on another world!

Day 12: Friday, September 13th

Our day begins with a visit to the iconic and sacred Western Wall plaza. Marvel at the 2000-year-old retaining wall built by King Herod the Great. Then we venture underground, several meters below the surface of the modern city of Jerusalem. The Western Wall Tunnels are a unique and exciting way to look back in time. Now it’s time to go off the beaten-track with an off-road guided Jeep Tour! It may be a bit bumpy, but it’s the best way to see some of the hidden treasures of Jerusalem and the Judean Desert. The day ends with a visit to the world-famous Mahane Yehuda Market. You’ll feel like a local when you experience the hustle and bustle of this vibrant market.

Day 13: Saturday, September 14th

FREE DAY in Jerusalem. The day is yours. Our hotel is perfectly situated to the Old City’s Jaffa gate, the modern Mamilla Mall, and the Ben Yehuda walking market. Take some time to buy those souvenirs you’ve always wanted. Or, take the day to sleep in and rest. Whatever you decide, the day is yours to enjoy.

Day 14: Sunday, September 15th

How you spend your final full day in Israel is up to you. You may want to experience one final beach day. There’s no better beach in Israel than the Tel Aviv beach. It’s filled with life, laughter, cafes, restaurants and lots more –OR– you can join in on one final excursion to ancient Jaffa. A beautiful port city with over 6000 years of history. Walk the quaint alleys or enjoy a fresh fish dinner by the sea. Then, it’s off to the Carmel Market for one final opportunity to get any last-minute gifts or souvenirs. It’s a colourful market with great shops and great food options! Don’t forget to bargain and have a great time.
